Kazan Int’l Film Festival honors Iran director

Iranian director Darioush Najafi Gol has succeeded to win award at the 13th edition of Kazan International Muslim Film Festival in Russia.

‘Voice’, co-produced by Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan, has won the Best Film Award of the Russian festival.

Among 12 short films which had participated at the competition section of the event, the jury panel selected ‘Voice’ to receive the award.

Established in 2005, Kazan Muslim Film Festival is one of the largest film forums held annually in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. The festival focuses on films supporting the ideas of peace-building, tolerance and humanity and promoting intercultural dialogue. The 13th edition of the festival was held on  September 5-11, 2017.
